这十一位女星尽管风格迥异，但都是好莱坞所瞩目的新星。其中，Rooney Mara凭借在《龙纹身的女孩》（The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo）一片中的表演获得了此次奥斯卡奖最佳女主角的提名，而Jessica Chastain也凭借《帮助》（The Help）一片获得奥斯卡最佳女配角的提名。
They are some of the hottest young stars around at the moment, with award nominations coming out of their ears.
And now the 11 hottest young stars in Tinseltown, as deemed by Vanity Fair magazine, have united for the publication's annual Hollywood issue.
Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling all appear in the stunning new shoot, taken by the magazine's contributing photographer Mario Testino.
The 11 actresses all evoking the glamour of a past era in their glamorous gowns and 1920's hairstyles in the romantic picture, with the 'Art Deco set was designed to evoke the all-white, Jazz Age interiors of English decorator Syrie Maugham', according to the magazine.
Since the pictures were taken, it has been announced that both Rooney Mara and Jessica Chastain have been nominated for Academy Awards for their roles in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Help respectively.
And in a video interview with Vanityfair.com, Rooney said she has always backed the underdogs, explaining: 'Throughout the year, I think some of the best performances are the ones that are under the radar.'
Rooney is seen looking worlds away from her Dragon Tattoo alter-ego Lisbeth Salander in the Testino shots, with her sleek black bob complementing her silky pink gown to perfection.
Meanwhile, Mia Wasikowska, whose role in Albert Nobbs has seen her propel to super-stardom, takes centre stage at the front of the picture in a sexy gold dress, while Jennifer Lawrence, who can soon be seen in the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of novel The Hunger Games, brings up the rear in a gown which perfectly highlights her incredible curves.
Phil Collins' daughter Lily is one of the British actresses who feature in the issue, thanks to her role in the upcoming Snow White adaptation Mirror Mirror.
Describing her father’s reaction when she landed the role of the fairy-tale princess, she said: 'He’s just a proud dad. Snow White was my favourite fairy tale, and when I first read about the project, I was like, ‘I have to get in on this. It’s such an iconic character.'
The actress is the daughter of Phil Collins and his second wife Jill Tavelman. When the pair split in 1996, Miss Tavelman won a £17million divorce settlement and took six-year-old Lily to Los Angeles.
Lily poses alongside fellow Brit Felicity Jones in the shoot. Former Archers actress Felicity won the Special Jury Prize at last year’s Sundance Film Festival for her role in low-budget film Like Crazy, and was named the new face of Burberry.
