s – her hands – which are insured for an astonishing £5million.
The 27-year-old's flawless digits have featured in adverts for brands including Fairy Liquid, Cadbury's and Rimmel.
Blessed with elegant, long, straight fingers and deep nail-beds, Miss Howorth, who lives in Chelsea, has been a hand model since the age of 15.
She has appeared in more than 250 television ads and on thousands of billboards.
A normal photoshoot earns her an average of £100 an hour, but she can command up to £2,500 a day as a "hand double" for celebrities.
For everyday wear and tear, her "secret weapon" for keeping age at bay is a £1.50 over-the-counter bottle of almond oil.
"It is the cheapest and best. Some other products don't seem to sink into the skin, but almond oil does."
Miss Howorth studiously avoids household chores – meaning husband Marcus Watts has to do all the washing up. "I can't remember the last time I washed anything without wearing gloves", she said. "It's really bad for your hands. I have a dishwasher, a cleaner and a husband."
The risk of losing work is what prompted Miss Howorth, who also runs the country's leading body-part model agency, to insure her hands at Lloyd's of London.
"I could claim on the insurance if I get a paper cut, depending on how bad it is", she said.
"If I cut my hand I might not work for two weeks, and that could be thousands of pounds lost."
"There are clauses for things like broken wrists, and if one of my fingers gets chopped off, I get a very big payout."[/en]
