They may be top of their game in the sporting world, but who towers above everyone else when it comes to China's number one search engine? This is a list of most searched international Sports stars on Baidu.com in the past seven days (Nov 1 – Nov 7).

No. 1 Yodsanklai Fairtex(雅桑克莱

Thai kickboxer Yodsanklai Fairtex ranked first in the search list after his overwhelming victory against China's World Boxing Council champion Hou Xu in 30 just seconds in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province on Nov 5, 2011. Fairtex also surprised the audience during the award ceremony for his technical knockout when he knelt down in front of Hou Xu's mother to pay his respect.

No. 2 Antonio Cassano(安东尼奥·卡萨诺

AC Milan and Italy forward Antonio Cassano's heart surgery attracted a lot of attention from Chinese fans. There are nearly 100,000 results when you search Antonio Cassano on China's Weibo micro blog.

No. 3 Cristiano Ronaldo(克里斯蒂亚诺•罗纳尔多)

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most popular stars in China, and anything about him makes the headlines. His recent hat trick over Osasuna also took him into the TOP 3 on the most searched list.

No.4 Michael Jordan(迈克尔·乔丹)

It is safe to say Michael Jordan has inspired millions of Chinese basketball fans. Unfortunately, this time he was put under the spotlight for his hard line stance in the ongoing NBA labor talks. But Chinese Sports commenter Yang Yi voiced his support that Michael Jordan now has to make decisions dependent on his new job as the owner of the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. "Your head is determined by your butt (What you think is decided by where your stand by)," Yang Yi wrote.

No.5 Lionel Messi(里奥·梅西

It is not Lionel Messi's last-minute goal for Barcelona against Athletic Bilbao that grabbed the online attention for the striker. The change of his Facebook profile photo and the endless comparison between him and Cristiano Ronaldo never fails to stir a storm on the Internet.

No.6 Saori Kimura(木村沙织

China overcame Japan at the women's volleyball World Cup in the Japanese city of Hiroshima on Sunday. In the match, Saori Kimura scored most with 24 points for the Japanese team. Chinese news portal Sohu.com named Saori Kimura as "a smiling assassinator" in praise of her calmness and powerful attacks.

No.7 David Beckham(大卫·贝克汉姆)

Is it good or bad news for a sports star like David Beckham to be so closely covered by the media for anything but his striking skills? The photos of his cute daughter, his hairstyle, his son taking part in a karate class. You name it. Whatever he does always makes the 36-year-old a popular buzzword.

No.8 Allen Iverson(阿伦·艾弗森)

Allen Iverson is hopeful of making a comeback in the NBA. "I'll play for anybody," Iverson told Yahoo! Sports. But the question of who wants him surely resonates as he finds himself in this week's top ten.

No.9 Jose Mourinho(穆里尼奥

Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho is the only coach in the TOP 10 most searched list. This maybe partially due to Nie Weiping ridiculing Chinese soccer last weekend. Chinese Nie urged soccer players here to learn board game in order to be intelligent. "They have a low soccer IQ, and even Jose Mourinho can't make it."

No.10 Filippo Inzaghi(因扎吉

Inzaghi's rise in the search rank was probably due to a rumor that he turned down the invitation of China's Shandong Luneng soccer team. The club also denied any contact with Filippo Inzaghi.
